Post Election Selection Trama

I was just reading this article, about some people in Florida and my heart just, went out to those people (all most cried alittle about it, was so moved.) See they belong too this support group thing, called PEST (Post Election Selection Trama) (I think also a good name to go with that acronyme would be People Emberrassed, So Terminate (Bush as Presidnet))

From the article:

“I’m scared,” said one man. “Democracy is at stake and nobody is rising to protest this president.” (I was thinking, does any of our readers live in Florida that they could find these people and tell them about our web site here? They need to know they're not alone.)

“There’s an overall sense of emotional helplessness and abandonment,” said Sheila Cooperman, a licensed AHA psychotherapist from Delray Beach. “In psychology, we call it ‘learned helplessness.’ After you zap a caged dog twice, he stops moving because he knows there is no place to go. That’s what happened with these Kerry voters. They’ve been zapped so many times that they’re on the verge of giving up on politics.” Cooperman, also a practicing psychic, added, “One person today said he thinks the country is now run by fascists. Another felt personally threatened by the president’s love for big business. Many believe Bush is going to draft their grandchildren. The anxiety may not affect them every day, but it affects their energy level.”

An additional 30 people are signed up for two other AHA election support groups, which will meet for the remainder of the year and possibly beyond. Gordon said his patients’ emotional problems typically started with the “hanging chad” debacle of 2000.

See what I mean?? And these people, they are probly just being laughed at by main stream media as "kooks" and "over reacting" when in reality they are SPOT ON (about faschism specially, I was nodding my head there when read it). Sounds like theres a lot of SODA going down south there. This situation just keeps getting worse and worser.

Thanks you for bringing this apauling situation to our atention Daisy.

I just want to say fro the record that I also feel personaly threathened by big busines. And old people should especialey because the first thing on big busines agenda is to kill all the old people so they can sell more Britney albums. Old people dont' buy Britney alblums so they just take up space. Out with the old in with the new.

Its' the American Way.

I wonder if in England it would be different. Easier to protest? Even if we can't be there in person I know we'll be assembling in spirit.
